Gorillaz Share New Song Featuring De La Soul’s Trugoy The Dove: Listen
Gorillaz have shared a new song called Crocadillaz featuring Dawn Penn and De La Soul, including a verse from the late Trugoy the Dove. It’s featured on Cracker Island (Deluxe), the latest version of the band’s new album. Other new features on the extended album include Del The Funky Homosapien (Captain Chicken) and MC Bin Laden (Controllah). Listen to Crocadillaz below.

Crocadillaz follows De La Soul features on the Gorillaz hit, Feel Good Inc (from 2005’s Demon Days), Superfast Jellyfish (from 2010’s Plastic Beach), and Momentz (from 2017’s Humanz). Gorillaz leader Damon Albarn paid tribute to Trugoy The Dove (born David Jolicoeur) by sharing a short piano loop on his Instagram. The accompanying caption reads, “A loop for Dave. I love you”.
