Chaka Khan has been confirmed as one of the superstar headliners for The Cambridge Club, which returns to the magical Childerley Orchard just outside Cambridge for another three-day, feel-good festival of Music, Arts & Culture – from Friday 7 June to Sunday 9 June 2024.

The stellar line-up of pop, soul, funk and disco icons also includes Earth Wind & Fire Experience By Al Mackay, Gabrielle, Incognito, Melanie C, Sister Sledge, Soul II Soul, and The Family Stone with more to be announced. Visit the event’s official website for further information.

Plus: dance music stage with top DJs, family entertainment, comedy, and live podcasts in unique Orchard area, street food and dining experiences, with glamping, pre-pitched and self-pitch camping. Over 50% of performers are female, including two headliners (one TBA)

After putting themselves firmly on the festival calendar – with previous headliners including Diana Ross and Lionel Richie – The Cambridge Club is back with its strongest weekend lineup ever.

Chaka Khan will illuminate the Main Stage on Sunday with her iconic voice and signature style that has left an unforgettable influence on generations worldwide. As a 10-time Grammy Award-winning superstar, she has helped to define music genres of pop, soul, jazz, and R&B with timeless hits like I’m Every Woman, Ain’t Nobody, and I Feel for You. Celebrating 50 years in the music industry, Chaka Khan earned the esteemed honour of being one of the latest inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year.

The Cambridge Club has established itself as one of the most loved festivals in the UK. Founded on a passion for feel-good tunes and dancing, the weekend event brings together friends and family of all ages to share in a celebration of music, arts and culture.

Music is only one element of The Cambridge Club’s immersive offering. Next year, festivalgoers will be able to enjoy an enhanced food experience at Food for Thought – the dedicated dining area that was a hugely popular addition in 2023. This includes a variety of live, interactive experiences centred on food and dining, and a feast of delicious cuisines from a range of top-nosh international food traders.

The Festival’s MD William Young said: “We’re incredibly excited to be back with an amazing line-up for 2024, just a few months after sharing our best-ever festival together. Chaka Khan and Earth, Wind & Fire have always been right at the top of our all-time wish list, so we’re so thrilled to have them perform.”
